He went into the world from which there is no return for his belief of a bee that jumps from flower to flower, failed and went wrong. A weak person in this modern world. Betrayal of love could not have shattered the heart of a boy of present generation. In the first stanza, the poet makes the readers to think that the boy is going to stab his love. That is the talent of the poet.

Greed dangled its ugly bait, Kicking aside a broken heart//I specially liked these two verses, my lady.

The pain of betrayal so finely expressed in this excellent poem. It's going into my favourites' list. I'll read more of your work tomorrow!

Hi Jayashree, An intense poem on love and betrayal. The letter burning a hole, in the pocket of his soul, Infidelity-deadlier than the deadliest- fatal to mortals fragile.... The angst of betrayal expressed in so little words with an intensity beyond words. The pain and suffering induced by her act on the lover are severe: Like a noose dangling-the blow .... indicating what is to come, the inevitable end... Clouding his vision with tears aflow .... unaware of the wind biting Chilling his already numb body... numbness caused by extreme pain starts to set in already. And finally, he is free from all the worldly agonies: His faltering steps searching unknowingly for that place of no return The comfort of eternal slumber to quieten the roaring silence! The choice of words cause build up of emotions leading to the culmination.. Well done.10+++
