I love this poem Shaun...great use of anaphora..set within a very pleasing rhyme scheme. I often read Roald Dahl's works to cheer myself up. Do you like his poem Television.? ..it's one of my favourtes. Anyway, it's another 10 from me!
Thank you Dominic and Television and Pure Imagination are my favs. I often pass the beautiful house where he was born in Llandaff, Cardiff and its a good feeling every time, a little bit of history and all that. He was that rare commodity in writing...a genius and so sadly missed. The great man who even today enthrals and captivates many young and old hearts alike world-wide.
