Riverbank Visual Poem by Daniel Miltz

Riverbank Visual

With gentle movement through the water
Rain rushes to the greensward needs
Riding to the water's edge
By the same token, skies lighten
After that --day settles down sudden
Side of river brighten in silence
Celestial rainbows glisten
Like a peeping sunshine gallery
While the river flows into sheer ecstasy
As summer brings sudden sights
Of the bright red cardinal beetles
And banded demoiselles
That throng the riverbank visuals
