A hymn of praise to a great lifegiver! My only adverse comment is the possibly inadvertant 'grow' 'low' rhyme.

Wow! Nice poem that contains all the characteristics of a melodious poem. I know well that is Nile through which Moses passed along with his fellowers on the different ways, and Phiraon whith his army. This is the Nile that reminds Chemistry because the word chemistry is derived from the word Chemia which means the sand of Nile. It is the river that reminds the culture, tradition and glory of Egypt. I like your poem very much. I'm far from your country and Nile but I have a deep attachment with it.

Fluent and melodious verses like a river.

I like this for all its similes, as well as the tribute it pays to what the koran teaches regarding the Nile. It seems rather clever as well, as in the second line you refer to its 'gentile waves, .' which I am curious about. It would seem also as though comparing the Nile with the Word of God since it is as '...the breaths in the lungs...' and...'within my surge life awakens.' and as He says in the Psalms.... Ps 119: 49-50 'Remember the word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened [keep(leave, make) alive, give (promise) life, (let, suffer to) live, nourish up, preserve (alive) , quicken, recover, repair, restore (to life) , revive..]me.' I Pet 1: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, Which liveth and abideth for ever. Thanks. I like it.

It is nice poetic description of river nile one of the mighty in the world where Egyptian civilization sprung. For my own taste I have problems with the line: it flows as the blood inside a body I don't enjoy the word blood in this nice peacful poem.'Good job. keep it up.

Good one, i am in a different part of the world with limited knowledge of river Nile, all i knew was its the longest river in the world, your poem educated me with its divine poetic sense.

it flows and floods the dry soil it flows through a valley of its creation it flows beside our pyramids and temples it flows to crown our heavenly land it says: ''take my waters and grow'' it says: ''let my immortal waters flow'' it says: ''within my surge life awakens'' an awesome impact created of sight and sound.... so distinctive of the great nile..... indeed a life of a nation deserves a befiting accolade... very well concieved and writen... u have done very well.... and made the nile proud...of its son..... cheers
