It sounds like the night festivities are even more exciting then the day revelries, it must be a true honour to be one of the bhoktas, the fire ritual sounds mesmerizing and enthralling, it would be a wonderful thing to see. It must be a unifying experience, a parade that embraces the divine maker. The words are just a taste of something that sounds amazing.
This is truly great to know about the Danda Nata. This is cultural heritage of ancient Kalinga. We see every year that devotees with great enthusiasm participate in this festival. Your effort in writing about the Danda Nata is definitely very admirable.
