Rising From The Shadows Poem by Osaya Evbuomwan

Rising From The Shadows

In the quiet of the night, when shadows loom,
Remind me, dear, my failures do not spell my doom.
Through Your eyes, I see the light, a child of grace,
With purpose in my heart, I take my rightful place.

Life may deal its cards, some fair and some unkind,
But I have the choice to rise, to seek, and to find.
I won't rage quit this journey, I'll play with all my heart,
Though the game may be daunting, it's only the start.

Through the stages of grief, I'll wander and roam,
Some days, I'll feel lost, longing for home.
Yet even in the struggle, I'll find strength anew,
As I rise from my failures, I'll reach out to you.

For in every setback, a lesson unfolds,
With courage and hope, my spirit grows bold.
I strive to be better, each day a new chance,
To inspire through stories, in this life's grand dance.

So let movement bring joy, let disruption ignite,
A warrior's spirit, ready to fight.
With every step forward, I'll break through the night,
And be a beacon of hope, a source of pure light.
