Ripping Paper Poem by Jennifer Gordon

Ripping Paper

We are like paper.
We bend and we break.
I've folded us.
My nails weaking the bonds that generation have made and all I had to do was pull.
Push as you.
She pushed at us.
Pushed and pulled
till we were apart.
