Ride Of Grace Poem by April Humason

Ride Of Grace

Come walk with me this gentle road,
Where burdens lift and hearts are slowed.
No rush, no fear, no heavy chains —
Just quiet love that softly reigns.

With You I feel a steady peace,
A warmth that makes my worries cease.
Not fire, not flame, not wild desire —
But hope that lifts my spirit higher.

We rise and fall through turns of grace,
With God before us, we find our place.
Not lost, not rushed, not torn apart —
Just shelter held within the heart.

Hand in hand, no false pretend,
This is the ride that does not end.
A joy made clean, a love made true,
Carried by Him through all we do.

This isn't thrill for passing delight,
But faithful steps that walk in light.
A path engraved by Heaven's voice,
Where love is trust and trust is choice.
