Rhythm Of The Night Poem by Daniel Miltz

Rhythm Of The Night

Sky yawn, a darkness glow
Through my open window
I see a light moon that wells
As it glistens, through the trees
Relishing sweet smells
While enjoying the breeze
Then out of the blue, I hear
Raspy, harmonic, chirping
A consistent rhythm beating
Never tiring or stopping
Of frogs and crickets near
Sounding like troubadours
Under the shining stars galore
All in the mystical light
Amidst' nature's music of the night
