Brilliantly written, full of heart, wisdom and wit. I agree - I enjoy fathoming other writer's depths but for me, simplicity wins. Great to read you again. Keep writing!
Wow...Fantastic write. Just loved it. Beautiful poem on writing a poem and its beautiful ways, how will it be interpreted by others, how you interpret others poems, usage of words and clarity in conveying the message, its moral and many more that help us to understand a poem. Beautiful presentation. Loved it.
indeed frankness and simplicity is the best way to reach out to each and everybody.....ur candid poetry is what pulls me to ur poems again and again....so keep up ur unique style....ur poem has once again brought home the fact with excellence...10/10
Poem laded with 'clumsy' words makes readers to loose interest. Better simple and plain. I agree with the poet
A good lesson need to read it again n again so adding in my list.A poet is neither a layman nor a scholar. A poet is a poet with simplicity of words and emotions and the art of expression. There is no such instruement to scale the smiles n cries of nature. In fine a poet is all in one. Thanks for share. Deserving full.
I agree with you and I think nobody has agreed with you in a more eloquent way than RW Emerson in his essay, the poet: The sign and credentials of the poet are, that he announces that which no man foretold. He is the true and only doctor; he knows and tells; he is the only teller of news, for he was present and privy to the appearance which he describes. He is a beholder of ideas, and an utterer of the necessary and causal. For we do not speak now of men of poetical talents, or of industry and skill in metre, but of the true poet. and in the next paragraph he goes on: For it is not metres, but a metre-making argument, that makes a poem, — a thought so passionate and alive, that, like the spirit of a plant or an animal, it has an architecture of its own, and adorns nature with a new thing. The thought and the form are equal in the order of time, but in the order of genesis the thought is prior to the form. The poet has a new thought: he has a whole new experience to unfold; he will tell us how it was with him, and all men will be the richer in his fortune.
