Reward For The Pain Poem by Govind Ramakrishnan

Reward For The Pain

After eating this
Delicious fondant,
She runs laps
Around the reservoir
Shedding calories
From chocolate, butter,
Flour and sugar.

Exhausted
from the run,
She returns
to the freezer
Seeking solace
In a tub of Ben and Jerry's,

Reward
For the pain
Inflicted
On her legs
By this nasty fondant!
