She lies on her side and listens
A sweet voice sings about dreams
It seems ages and ages
When she had thick dark tresses
Life was so full of promises
The future so full of dreams
The dreams of innocent youth
Still lurking in her heart's recesses
Come floating back to the surface
Flooding her from senses to senses
She touches each one of them
Now so faded, so colourless
None of them came true
None will ever come true
But the old song like a true friend
Touched her with soft caresses
Beautiful composition. We can't get back the charms of our youth. Loved it. Thanks.
