Revision of Certainty
I bring
For a poem I recently wrote

Revision
I said,
All roads lead to hell
I meant,
All roads lead to death

This truth if for certain
Unless the rapture comes
Then there is room
for negotiation

I am certain
Some roads lead to heaven
Some roads lead to hell

Another certainty
Jesus Christ died for our sins
Yours and mine
For this I am certain of

A certainty overlooked
Yet of vital importance
Given the certainty
That all roads lead to death
This is our only Hope
Jesus Christ
