Revile For A Cheater Poem by Mphonyana Oaitse

Like a ravenous wolf
He put on a sheep's coat
Promising me all kind of riches
That one can think of
Telling me that not even death
Has the power to do us apart
Knowing deep in his heart
That he has someone else besides me

Even the devil is much better
As compared to him
Because the devil keeps and owns
His subordinates for eternity
Unlike him who lied about keeping
And owning only me for life

He is a loser, a teaser
He deserves to have died in the womb
He does not deserve to breathe
Silent mode six feet underground
Is what he deserves
The graveyard is a suitable place
For people of his kind

If I were a dog,
Having the power of prediction
I could not have allowed him into my life
I could not have given him the keys to my heart
I would have known before hand
How heartless he is
For an innocent girl like me
And as such avoid him as much as possible

If time could be reversed
I would reverse all things
To that time he proposed to me
And I would give him a bolded and exclaimated no!
To his stinky and malodorous proposal

Anyway, I am very grateful
As he did not mess up with my life that much
I still have what it takes
To love again.
