Reverie Poem by rosalinda flores rosevoc

Reverie

My reverie gets longer in time
Running stairs,
Hurrying on parks
The pickup in the parking lot and once
In front of a shrine.
Stories got easy on our tongues
While her poker hands got you bound.

Everlasting sacred mounds
Me to new dimensions
I awake, like a princess dressed for a war
In your strong arms,
A harbor of my soul
Bitter old receipts of woes fade away
I come out to light with you
One flesh holding us in.
