Reunited Poem by Philip St. Cyr

Reunited

Rating: 5.0

The whole world is Darkness to me;
empty, cold, shapeless
a vain infatuation of nothingness
without you,
The shade of monotone overwhelms
all surrounding;
but, through the depths of void
a faint glimmer of what
appears to be the astonishment of my heart,
is cast before my presence;
a once fleeting, distant memory
of joy, love, peace, and hope
combined, into one single moment;
The anticipation,
until the moment I see you again.
