I love the image of the river transporting the secret back to the sea. How the timelessness of the ocean draws us when we are looking for healing or direction. Maybe it's the rhythmic waves and sureness of tides or simply soaking up the well-being of the sun lying on warm sand breathing in the sea air. A deserving 10 plus

Terrific imagery, Soul. There is something about this work that evokes the thought of a journey home, or a journey back to a point or time of origin. The music and musicality reinforces that. Do we not respond to melodies because, like the flowing waters, they return us to something familiar? A great work, Soul.

If I touch your first linesecret from the river it is our imagination of silent flow. Because river will flow silently without producing any noise. We can listen its melodious rhythms when there is no external noise or voice from its bank. So the secret of the river is a imagination. From the imagination it may be any thing. It depends on the feeling of the person how he feels it. And it makes some sound when we looks in to 2nd line of your poem.Carried by the endless waves. To be continued.....

Hi Soul, Mubarak for the day. Again will show a bad dare to write on this poem for the first stanzas of it 1. Secret from the river 2. Carried by the endless wave 3. Flowing to return to the sea 4. And then hide in the ocean depth. From a first look we may think each lines have connecting to one by one But if I peep deep in to it is not in other cross it may have links

I checked out your biography and you don't say where you are from, but I think I can safely assume from your sentence structures that English is not your native language. Nevertheless, your poem has some good thoughts and leaves me with a pleasant feeling. Congratulations on having the poem selected as Poem of the Day!

The title of the poem just took me back to my ester years of studenthood. It reminded me of one of the act plays 'The Riders to the Sea' by an Irish writer Synge portrays deep sufferings of a mother who sacrifices her sons one after other to the sea.
