Murders are nearly everywhere
Cheating’s become the norm
The world we know seems not to care
Carousing in the storm
So people fear to walk the street
Since guns appear to rule
Even neighbours will seldom greet
Frightened to seem a fool
Now rape is practiced day and night
Buggery’s seen as odd
Suicide’s reached an unknown height
While few give thought of God
Gambling drinking junkies with knives
Robberies are common ground
Is it perchance transgression thrives?
And evil works abound
Children employ the vilest curse
Women shy not to kill
The human race is growing worse
Against God’s sovereign will
The world’s become satanic tools
Children are in his hand
They’ve taken Jesus out of schools
Will no one understand?
Who thinks today of wayward sins?
Who gives a thought of God?
So day by day the devil wins
While parents spare the rod
The world must stop and take a look
Must learn to understand
That guidance comes from God’s own book
Penned through The Master’s hand
