The veins of my body shivered, eyes paled bone marrows shriveled and feet trembled My conscience weakens my mind and intellect the house seemed empty and forlorn, the bed where father breathed his last, my son! You are late I wanted to see you at my last moments. Very fine poem…. Describing the pain of losing the father In your absence….. it happens when we all travel abroad, looking for new pasteurs. Were we selfish. I do not know. But leaving behind, home, parents, siblings and coming home to see that you are a stranger in your own home………. Very nice poem. It is the experience of many who are abroad. tony
