About the return gift, I must say, I penned this poem as a return gift to the birthday wish from the unknown friend as I really felt happy to get the greetings for my birth day.Later the poet became a good friend.

Hi Bri Edwards, As per new rule of Poem Hunter, your full page comment is now divided into three and I get my points soaring.Thank you so much. I hope, you now believe in destiny. When you see that old paper clipping, you may feel that destiny had already fixed what was yet to happen.(contd.)

recently my wife found a newspaper clipping she'd saved almost five years ago. she says it is the ONLY clipping she has saved. the article, including two photos, is about a martial arts/tai chi/qigong training center close to our 'new home'. one photo features a male student. my mate had never heard of the center. five years later, her older daughter, N, attends the center and N. and the male student are a 'couple'! i left out a bit of the story. bri :)

Unravel the mysteries.......the mysteries are yet to be unraveled for me. but i am patient, and i HAVE ICE CREAM! i don't get the part about a wish from an unknown friend; did you really get a gift, i wonder. it was not from me, WAS IT? some favorite lines: Is it called destiny? Questioning Destiny Is not it a destiny itself ..............(to be continued) ........

Life is a celebration As we dive to the depth and vastness Of sky and ocean Myriad wonders of nature Unravel the mysteries and question The purpose While we sail towards destination. . . .loved these lines. It is beautifully crafted on birthday. Thanks for sharing.

Life is full of chance meetings and incidents..... but do they happen by mere chance or are they predestined! This question is often debated. However the chance birthday greeting from an unknown friend has helped you write a beautiful poem Bharati!

We meet, get to know, celebrate and then question, why? We write our own destiny. Great write, Bharati.

Opening of the scene and rendering style through out the read with a question is penned so well which gave me a theater experience! All that happens in our life are with a purpose and realization of the purpose may be known a little later!

We meet someone in unexpected moment..then we ask why? Because everything happens for a reason but then the reason is still a mystery until it happen...
