They are
Retired
Free birds
Are they?
Caught in
The shackles
Of society
Aren't they?
Brainwashed
By societal rules
Always afraid of
Breaking the rules
Money, status,
Power, prestige,
Position....
They all matter
What about freedom?
Gone for a toss -
Does it really matter?
