Restless Poem by Jan E Smith

Restless

How can I sleep when you're not near?
For it is your breath I long to hear.

I've lived my life, and felt half whole,
And now you've come and touched my soul.

Who would have thought that we would meet,
and you would make me feel complete?

What is time, and what is love?
And did you fall from up above?

I pinch myself. Can this be real?
Should I allow myself to feel?

Many questions race through my mind.
Why are the answers hard to find?
