Rest, O' My Soul Poem by Paul Sebastian

Rest, O' My Soul

While night is in deep slumber
My wide-eyed mind wander
Into the labyrinth of thoughts
Searching soulful answers of sorts
To appease my restless soul
No rest till answers unfold

Sinking into prayer I implore
My unrest I cast unto My Lord
In helplessness I surrender
Said my burden, He'd shoulder
I then walk away in His peace
Finding rest; my soul's release
