Rest In Peace Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Rest In Peace

When we die, they say, we'll rest,
Peace and quiet, put to the test.
But why, oh why, must we wait,
For freedom's gate, sealed by fate?

Why not here, on this green earth,
Find gentle peace, show human worth?
Why fight and rage, and cause such pain,
When freedom's song could gently reign?

Let's choose to live, in harmony,
Kindness sown, for all to see.
Let peace bloom now, a vibrant flower,
Enjoying freedom, hour by hour.
