to get poached, legislators are prone
specially if there is, of contention, a bone
stay in five star resorts
with luxury of all sorts
abracadabra, all that is dire is gone

In India, when Government is likely to lose majority due to dissidence among ruling party members, the legislators are usually kept safe in a five star resort with all luxuries, at Govt cost, away from opposition poachers and even from their own families for a few days until the atmosphere cools down. When they come out all legisltors are happy and pledge loyalty to the Government.
