The poem flows like a gospel hymn - 'just like a tree planted by the water, I shall not be moved' and has the grace of one but it seems a secular hymn to the human spirit, to choosing what's right, to sticking to the truth.... in the face of the ambigious 'it'.
a good resolution this...nothing...be it life or death...can change your convictions once you reslove to stand close by them... good write 10

Wonderful, Chris, we'll steal its surprise' and all else is dross. This is powerful resolution deriving from boundless human energies, if we would only unleah them this poem urges us. Fantastic!
