very beautiful poem It is the thought of an average indian woman carrying her she longs for him marginalisation starts even before birth. Whom to blame? ? ? regards sandhya
I am tired of writing 'excellent'. 'well penned', 'wow poem' 'thoughtful' its so cliche...especially when it comes to poets like you All your poem are exceptional...need I to write and say good about them? Me of all the people in the word? Nah..I am far too amazed (everytime) to comment...
it does not matter if it is a he or she it is what GOD wanted it to be.
good...i rate this one high, higher than many you posted recently...an artful write...poets must be able to tell an ordinary thing differently...like this...thanks...10
A wishful thinking of the pregnant lady comes out naturally.
You make it sound so complicated. We were always proud of the he or she as long as it were healthy it didn't matter. A good thought and a good write. Your Friend Lynn
i dont know sam, if u are right in saying that every expectant mother wants to have a' he' as a baby.it is more out of the familial pressure to have a baby boy.i think that every woman in the heart of hearts knows that a daughter is her best friend.she is the closest one to her after she leaves her parents house.infact God created daughters so that a woman has her best friend out of her parent's house.but yes, the poem gives a lot of food for thought.................thanks for sharing, buddy.
This is so sad....typical wish of most expectant mothers in this part of the world at least
Amazing thought portrayed here! !
