A very interesting poem muse, sublime intent and content wow. I like how you phrased it, food for thought yay. Kudos. So nice to read from your inking again, Pleez do comment my newest poem too titled, 'when life was really child's play'
Richard, I have given at least two dozen readings to this poem during the last two days and have tried to grasp its essence. To me it highlights the hypocrisy of man which has created a smoke-screen obstructing the truth of our relationships, purpose of life, society and consistency and reliability of commitments made by us and others. May be I am closer to the core. Thanks for sharing. Quite thought provoking.
Very masterful, Richard. Reading this, I can hear the beat of Blondie's Island of Souls in the background. This verse is almost demanding a score.
you still believe in ghosts and souls? once a guy is dead one is like a dead rat hope you have seen one? AND Thanks for scrolling past my page after eras all the best KEEP SEARCHING QUESTIONS! ! ! ! IN FINALLY LOST ONES SPIRITUALLY WOULD YOU?
Very intriguing poem, the best poems in my opinion are those with questions demanding balance, you do this masterfully in this awesome poem my friend! !
I like writers searching for answers, delving for truths, and taking his readers along in his journey. Skillful and emotive imagery. And that title is perfect! ! ! Brought me to this poem like a homing bird- strength and power resounding in ever line. 10++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
