Republican's 18 Poem by Randy McClave

Though this might sound made up or a bit extraordinary
You can be just 17 years old to join the military,
Though you still might be in school learning a trade or a craft
When you are 18 years old, you must register for the draft.
So, whenever your country needs you to serve,
If you're 18 you must fight and maybe die so our way of life you can preserve.

When a female is a teen from thirteen to eighteen
She is now old enough to become a mother or a queen,
She is now said to be old enough to carry a child
Though she might have become pregnant from being defiled.
But, she is now or will be a soon to be mother,
If she's 18 or younger they say everyone will still respect and love her.

When you are 18 years old you can buy and own AR-15's
You are even old enough to join the army or the marines,
Those weapons have been used to shoot the innocent dead
But, they are legal for the youths to have, the Republicans have all said.
When you're 18 you can be drafted, become a mother the Republican's have wrote,
But, then the Republican's believe that you must be 21 and not 18 to vote.
