Our India is our pride
our Republic is our guide
our freedom belongs to us perpetually
our India belongs to us constitutionally.

our India is a cluster of diverse communities
yet we amalgamate in courage and solidarity,
together we share prosperity and adversities
together we uphold our simplicity and humanity.

Our Republic Day Parade depicts our eminence
our leader hoists our national flag with prominence,
our national anthem emanates from our hearts
our children and our countrymen sing it aloud.

Our army soldiers and navy march symmetrically and elegantly
the bedecked camels and horses catch spectators' attention,
then come the tableaux representing each state' and its tradition,
Rajpath is that venue of excitement on our Republic day.

As brass bands keep playing their trumpets and beating drums,
patriotism keeps echoing vividly in their rhythm and rhyme,
our Air Force fly their aircrafts in our skies displaying colors of joy
their spectacular demonstrations are such an honor to witness.

Our Republic day is so full of elation and exuberance
it depicts a huge consortium of our loyalty to our country.
Our India so full of colossal unity and harmony
it makes every Indian feel grateful to his vibrant nation.
