Repression Poem by DM W

Repression

The repressed beasts at the heart of my dreams,
Growl menacingly in cages of steel;
With wild, staring eyes as bright as the sun.
Indeed, they look decidedly sullen!
Their bodies are lean, dark and muscular.
They appear primed to kill potential prey.
It seems they will not settle until they're
Satiated. I wonder what Freud would say? !
