Hurt and scorned people are places where real enemies hide........beautiful poem with some bold truths and honest compassion.
A clear but surprising address to the chief Crazy Horse. The poem is different from any others of William Stafford which I have read. There is some uncertainty about who the speaker is, to me anyway.
