Replicas Of You Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Replicas Of You

Replicas Of You

When I look at the sun,
It see replicas of you,

When I gaze at the moon,
It was your lovely torso,

The ranaway wife,
echoes of the Tutuban
Train signals,

That took you away
to Bicol,

Wiped out all traces
variations,

The living
paraphernalias,
of life,

The merry making
messages
and earthly,
discussions,

All the lively conundrum
and vibration
of sex,

Memories, staircases,
Pathways to those
enchanted palaces,

Hope belonging
to mankind,
Keys to
untangled the roots,
of labyrinthine
nature,

Sounds of
love makings,
and all it's rewarding,
enhancements,

Tomorrow lands
andher lost promises,

Becomes
burnt wreckages,
cringing images
of our ruined house.

Now scenarios.
are changing
everything,

Proofs,
existence
thrived long ago,

Maimed,
roaming victim.
in the hands.
of time,
