Replace Than By To...An Unsatisfied Issue
In the process of comparison, conjunction
Than is replaced by To.
To is added before word like Superior
As a rational substitute of Than.
But I still feel comfortable to spell
Superior than, despite superior To.
Prescriptive grammarians are here
To regulate us through rules and laws.
The sweetness and fragrance of description
That a word intends to flow through you
Really does cry for its justice.
If you replace Than in place of To
It may sound weird like
Congratulations Than(To)you
Happy Birthday than you.
Let us expect language to evolve
So that monkey will have chance
To transform into human being.
Let those who aren't native speaker
Enjoy benefit of doubt
Everyone has choice of preference
To rationalize his mistake
In composing poem.
