Renewed Make-Believe Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Renewed Make-Believe

Rating: 5.0

What if I were Michael Angelo
Painting the sixteenth chapel
Lost in the eternity of Heaven
And thinking that I was in Hell

What if I were William Blake
Sensing cosmic consciousness
Lost in the eternity of Hell
And thinking that I was in Heaven

What if I were Einstein
Taking power naps
Lost in the eternity of nowhere
And thinking that I was somewhere

What if today were yesterday
And yesterday were tomorrow
And tomorrow were all of yesterdays
Forever lost in eternity

What if God died
And we lived
And God was reborn
And we died again

What if God died And we lived And God was reborn And we died again I think I found the perfect quote on my tombstone, or is that my birthstone? A very thoughtful poem Richard, filled with a lot of mind bending thought. Highly rated.
