An extremely well-crafted iambic pentameter offering in the tradition of Edgar Allan Poe. Intense imagery throughout the piece. Loved 'And yet my fire rises with my height / That coldly burns for her embrace of night.' Also 'I stand upon my fate yoked to my love / And kick the world away.
