Rendezvous Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Rendezvous

Rendezvous

There are places in your mind,
where can go and remember,

places where you were young,
and not old,

Somewhere where the clock
stood still but not your body,

This man will accost you,
you'll feel it's not you,

brain plays handsome tricks,
You get to believing,

a distant wormhole you may encounter,
a young skin chaperone,
on your mystical tour
with your girlfriend,

When age was a constant friend,
and not the villain,

still somewhere in that past,
are rejuvenation for an old man,

Come handsome prince,
with an arm on that first love,

At your favorite places
of rendezvous,
