Remembering them all on Remembrance Day.
Forever in our thought,
forever in you debt,
so many never returned,
so many families wept,
Many bodies never identified,
Left wherever they fell,
Others trudged for many miles,
After living their hell.
We cannot replace their loss,
But we can remember what they gave,
Their lives were very precious,
Even if they don't have a grave.
Every November we buy a poppy,
Many will families sit and pray,
So we come together as a nation,
Remembering them all on Remembrance Day.
