Remember when
you used to sit on your patio
and watch me
swim in my swimming pool
wearing nothing
but my birthday suit
Remember when
I used to come
over to your house
and we couldn't find
nothing to talk about
but the weather
Remember when
you saved my dog from drowning
Remember when
I came over to comfort you
when your wife
suddenly
walked out on you
Remember when
I got sick
and you drove me straight to the hospital
When friends are friends
they have so many memories
and they don't ever forget!
to remember!
and you remind me
of what it means to have a friend
and be a friend
because things they have changed
so much
now that you are dead!
and gone!
