Will you be gone when I awake
Or will you be having breakfast with me
I would like to know for goodness sake
Will you be gone, or will we be having toast and coffee.
Will you be there with our future aborning
So, happy that you spent the night with me
Or will you be somewhere with tears mourning
As you think while drinking a glass of whiskey.
Will your side of the bed still be warm
And will your indentations still be seen
Or on the bed will I still see your lovely form
Or will you have already left the scene.
Will you be happy that you had spent the night
Or will you had awakened in total shock
Will you had opened your eyes with joy and delight
Or will you had left wearing just one shoe and sock.
Will you remember our night forever
And to my house will you be happy that you came
Or will that memory will you just sever
Tell me, will you want to remember my name.
