Wear my favorite color
Sing my favorite song
Think of me often
Talk to me at night
I'll be here to remind you
That it will be alright

Remember me
Don't let me fade
Keep me around
Near you I'll stay
But one more thing:
The greatest way of all
I want you to remember me
By moving on

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

I wrote this poem in English class in response to our bellwork (we could to write anything at all, but it had to start with 'Remember me') and a relative of mine recently died, so I wrote this poem about remembering someone even long after they're gone.
