Remains Unwed Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Remains Unwed

She waits for a nice lad to marry,
so he off the town will her carry.
But she's very alert
not with a man to flirt.
Unwed she's confined there to tarry.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Once the rural lads learnt they move to cities and marry there. The lass waits in a town that one good man will come and marry her and take her off. But her dream is not fulfilled.
