Remain Faithful Suffering Saints! Poem by Timber Koleden

Remain Faithful Suffering Saints!

Rating: 4.8

Who is weighing the scales of life?
Who is counting the stars of the night?
Why are so many dying in the strife?
Why does the dark seem to swallow all light?

Why must these our rivers be of tears?
Why must our mountains be of piled dead?
Why must we survive racked with fears?
Why must our streets be bare and roads red?

Why are our tables bar•ren at eve?
Why our houses empty in the cold winter?
Why do the birds weep and grieve?
Why do the young not live to twinter?

God almighty has all things seen!
The world is grey and dying soon to pass!
What He makes grey he remakes green!
The trial is near for those who trespass!

We who are redeemed will this last!
Famine and war the body sure shall kill!
All this hor'or shall be the vague past!
Let him with us work his wondrous will!

May we zealous share his righteous light!
May we be found faithful in the end!
May we suffer with peace ev'ry day and night!
Till he returns, our souls to perfect mend!

Remain Faithful Suffering Saints!

May we all see and feel the god and lead us to the peace and unity in the end.
