You know Jesus felt the same way in a sense, He was always antagonized, ridiculed and in conflict with the religions of His time. I also agree very much with you. As religion is based on a sect of believers dogmas that they expect you to adopt and caress as absolute. I prefer to aproach the Creator and seek His guidance with the help of those who don't impose their creeds and rules but teach about God's grace and love. I hope you find your way as well.
This poem is about my first girlfriend as well. My affairs with her, and with religion, were so inextricably intertwined that a poem about one has to be about the other too.
