Rejuvenated Mind Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Rejuvenated Mind

I take my walk routinely
Never seriously
Interrupting it whenever I see
Something interesting.

Today I encountered
Four cranes on water's edge
Two white, one dark, one gray
Each walking in its own natural way.

The S shaped long neck
Oscillated rhythmically
The thin legs vibrated to agitate
The beak then penetrated to grab.

I stood there to watch
As the egret turned its neck
Watched me in turn for a moment
Continued its action without hesitation.

I accomplished more than
What I intended it's clear
My body got the exercise needed
Nature rejuvenated my mind.
