I really enjoyed the back and forth between the central characters as well as the way it flowed. Great balance, great poem.

I once again with interest have read your verses … they differ an originality of a manner of the letter and remind aroma of Russian classical poets of the twentieth century … sincere...

When we choose to put our hearts out there, then we also choose the possibility of rejection. Reason being that we all have a particular 'vision' we're looking for, a certain set of values, and of course, chemistry plays a big part in drawing people together. If it isn't there, it just isn't there. This is a wonderfully perspective piece, and it seems you've done quite a bit of soul-searching with this one. Love it! Linda :)

thank you sir for writing this beautiful poem. i read the others you recommended but this one hit closer home. i know that love n rejection go hand in hand but its always how one reacts that determines how theyll be. i might be only 18 but im told im more mature than all of my friends be they 16 or 24. thanky you sir again for these kind words and thanks for the comments too.
