Reiki 9 - Body Is A Temple Poem by Geeta Radhakrishna Menon

Reiki 9 - Body Is A Temple

Rating: 5.0

Human Body is like a temple!
Where the invisible spirit resides in style
Seated like an emperor,
Silent observer,
Listening to the life that talks,
Listening keenly to the cries and laughs,
Watching carefully the actions it performs,
Wondering how the life will tread its path!

Let the body be clean with no dirt,
Let it be a sacred place with mirth,
Let all the channels in your body open easily,
Let the life force energy flow through freely.

Receive Reiki with a heart full of empathy,
Receive Reiki with humility and mercy.

The relationship of body with spirit is one of the most enigmatic but rewarding bonds- for self as well as for others around us. Thank you so much for sharing these valuable thoughts 'Body Is A Temple' being a significant part of the wider subject of Reiki. Thanks a lot, Geeta ji. Human Body is like a temple! Where the invisible spirit resides in style.... Let the body be clean with no dirt, Let it be a sacred place with mirth,

I hope I already receive Reiki, although I am not sure of the meaning. The body has to be clean to make all else possible. In some doctrine, the body is a vessel of the Holy Spirit. A priest reminded me of that.

In the first stanza you have rightly said that body is a temple where the invisible spirit resides in style seated like an emperor, the silent observer who is listening to the life that talks. This temple must be cleaned and kept helthy for the invisible spirit or soul with the help of Reiki. A splendid work.10
