Reiki 8 - The Gentle Touch To Heal
Touch with abundance of love,
Like the loving affection of a Mother!
Touch with gentle hands of protection,
Like the guarding hands of a Father!
Touch with the intention to heal,
Like the velvet touch of rose petals!
Touch with the glow of energy
Like the morning rays of the Sun!
Touch with positivity to heal and cure,
Like the glowing hands of a Mystic!
Touch with benevolent vibrations,
Like the powerful hands of God!
Touch with positive hands of light,
To revive and restore to good health.
A Reiki Sonnet
Healing touch like that of an affectionate mother, the guarding hands of a Father, the velvet touch of rose petals and divine touch of the God Almighty come together to become a collective healing power. This all is aimed at healthy minds, healthy bodies and healthy souls. Thanks a lot, Geeta ji. It is for the selected ones who discover and let others taste this divine nectar.

A beautiful piece indeed. But it made me think. The world is nothing but vibrations, some good some bad. All senses with which we perceive world work on the touch, kiss of these vibrations. In later couplets the poet has referred to these subtle touches.
