One who is used to the quiet town and the simple life will definitely resent the jostling crowd of faceless people in a city and their meaningless hullabaloo! Great write!

So very true, Valsa. Kerouac's family had a lot of animosity towards New York City. Thank you so much for believing it to be a great write!
