Reflection Of Intellectual Growth Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

Reflection Of Intellectual Growth

Reflection Of Intellectual Growth
A taste of degree of intellectual growth
Relies on your sensitivity to nature of pain.
The level of compassion flows in your vein
Will design the way, how you perceive them.

A heart flooded with spirit of altruism
Feels pain of others; rather than his own.
Most of us, never care griefs of others
Do cry always of sorrow and pain of own.

Enlightened luminaries too feel physical pain
But they do gain from misery of rain
They perceive truth from sorrow and pain
To nurture world with peace and brotherhood.

The toxin of jealousy makes a man feel
Heavenly pleasure when he notices
Grief of relatives and close mates
While he feels pain in their success.

There is still a few group of holy people
Who experience joy while hurting themselves.
The misteryof spirituality or insanety
That is left still for further observation.
